Dennis Lind remains one of the protagonists of the first part of the season of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe. At the French circuit of Paul Ricard, the 23-year-old Danish driver of the team Raton Racing has got his third absolute success in the first of the two races of the weekend, thus reducing the gap with an unleashed Vito Postiglione at the top of the PRO standings.

The Italian driver, racing for Imperiale Racing, had obtained his first victory in the previous round at Silverstone, England. In today's race, he first struggled with Adrian Amstutz, who had relieved his teammate Patrik Kujala (who set the pole position at the end of the first qualifying session and led the race up to the pit stop) on the car of Bonaldi Motorsport, then with Lind himself, thus finishing ahead of the young Croatian Martin Kodric, who arrived third also with the colors of Bonaldi Motorsport.

The crew formed by Amstutz and Kujala got the fifth place overall (just behind the Latvian of Artline Team Georgia, Harald Schlegelmilch) and another victory, the fourth to be precise, in the PRO-AM class, where they managed to extend their lead in the standings. Second place in his class for the eighteen-year-old Dutchman, Rik Breukers (GDL Racing), who has entered the "top 10".

Debut and victory in the AM class for the Swiss Philipp Schlegel (Sportec Motorsport), who finished ahead of the brothers Eugenio and Sergio Montez (Luxeville Racing Team) and Nouri Shahin (Leipert Motorsport) respectively.

Excellent performance of the "new entry" Jeroen Bleekemolen, who, paired with Rolf Ineichen on another car of Bonaldi Motorsport, finished in seventh position, after setting the second fastest time during Q1 and maintaining his position at the start before handing over the wheel to his teammate. Ahead of them arrived the pairing of Konrad Motorsport, formed by Christopher Zöchling and Florian Spengler.

Race 2, also lasting 50 minutes, is scheduled for tomorrow at 12.05 and will be broadcasted live in Italy on Nuvolari TV, free-to-air on channel 61 of the DTTV. It will also be available in live streaming on the web site of Lamborghini Squadra Corse: http://squadracorse.lamborqhini.com/en/live.

You can also watch the races again on the official YouTube channel of Automobili Lamborghini, http://www.youtube.com/lamborghini.

Drivers' quotes

Dennis Lind #60 - Raton Racing (first place overall as well as in the PRO class): "It was one of the most difficult races of this season, also because of very high temperatures. It seems that I'm bound to win in Race 1. It already happened to me at Monza and then at Silverstone. But tomorrow I'll aim at the one-two that has been escaping me up to now. The fact that I can start from the pole makes me very confident".

Adrian Amtutz #34 - Bonaldi Motorsport (first in the PRO-AM class): "I'm satisfied. In the end, I had a hard fight with Postiglione, but it was a beautiful race and we got another win".

Philipp Schlegel #46 - Sportec Motorsport (first in the AM class): "It's really great to win the debut race. A thank you goes to my team, which provided me with a perfect car. I pushed hard and made no mistakes. I'm happy".

Tim Richards #28 - Toro Loco (first in the Lamborghini Cup): "Conquering the success on this track is fantastic. It was an exciting race. I'm very satisfied".
